It's Halloween!

Rance was a monster who wanted to rant,

"I know I could type if Mama & Papa would just give me a chance".

So he put on his hat and his shoes made in France

and opened a jar and put ants in his pants.

He drove to the Library and jumped on the computer

then he hammered away like he was riding on a motor scooter.

Rance wiggled his fingers and strutted his stuff

the librarian shushed him she just about had enough.

Rance did a cartwheel.

Rance did a flip.

Suddenly his head began to unzip.

Out flopped his brain, which plopped on the floor,

which loosened his eyeball, which rolled out the door.

And after his arm fell out of his sleeve

the horrified librarian screamed "enough of this, PLEASE!"

But Rance kept on typing

he said "what the heck"

and laughed as his head fell off of his neck.

He said to himself with a one-eyed glance

I might be a mosnter, but man can I rant!
